Eugene Oregon Milestone and Family Photographer | Jaini's 6-Month with Family

I had so much fun looking back at this pretty springtime session from earlier in the year. I’ve been photographing Jerome and Kristina’s family for several years now and it is always such a pleasure! This time, they booked a combination 6-month milestone for their younger daughter Julia plus family photos.

Julia is just one of the smiliest and happiest babies in the world. She is always such a cutie and so much fun! I couldn’t believe how much she’d grown already. And big sister Jaini and I have become fast friends over the last couple of years, so this session was a breeze.

We decided that the rhododendron garden at Hendricks Park would be the perfect spot for this milestone and family session. This is one of my favorite locations here in beautiful Eugene, Oregon and it’s especially stunning in the springtime with all the flowers in bloom. We did our session at the end of May and our timing couldn’t have been better! The flowers made the most gorgeous backdrop, but when I came back a week later, almost all of them were gone. They don’t last long, but they are so pretty while they do!

We had a wonderful warm night and the golden light was perfection. It was so sweet to watch the girls play and interact together. I always try to make my family sessions very laidback and relaxed, especially when littles are involved, and this family makes it easy! They are such a pleasure to work with and I loved being able to capture another special milestone for them.
