Eugene, Oregon Maternity Photographer | Lori and Family

I loved being the Eugene, Oregon maternity photographer for Lori, Kyle, and big sister Chloe in January, helping them get ready to welcome another little one to the family! I’m so excited for them!

Lori had already booked a full newborn session for after baby girl’s arrival, and she decided to add a maternity mini photography session as well. My maternity mini sessions are only available to parents who book a full newborn session with me. They’re a great option for mamas that want pregnancy pictures but prefer a smaller number of images. A mini maternity photoshoot is obviously shorter than a full one, but there’s still time for a wardrobe change, so we can get a beautiful variety of images. And of course, having the rest of Lori’s family there gave us even more poses to play with!

Lori wanted to wear my new rainbow gown to commemorate this little girl being a rainbow baby. Welcoming a rainbow baby can be such a tender experience, and I already had several baby props in rainbow colors, but I also wanted a maternity gown that moms could wear in memory of a little one who has passed on. I feel that it’s so important to give families lots of options for their photo session, not just to make their pictures unique, but because we all have a story, and things like special props and outfits can help us to tell that story and hold on to those memories.

So glad I could help Lori and her family celebrate in a way that was unique and special to them. They are amazing, and their family just gets more beautiful as it grows!

Baby Brynlea arrived about three months after this mini maternity photography session—and she is adorable! I’ll be posting the photos from her newborn session in a few weeks, so keep an eye out. You won’t want to miss them!

In the meantime, feel free to check out my maternity and newborn galleries so you can get ideas for your own session. I’d love to help you start planning!
