Another gorgeous maternity photography session, this one with a very clean, modern look and minimalist color palette. Jasmine and Tanner are getting ready to welcome a little one and I was thrilled to help them capture the anticipation with a maternity photoshoot!
We got Jasmine all ready with hair and makeup before we started with photos. Jasmine loved the modern look, so we kept props and backdrops pretty minimal. We used high contrast colors, and also used my new photography cubes—which I’ve been loving! They’re subtle enough that they don’t really feel like props, but they give so many more options for posing.
This beautiful mother-to-be also wanted to do some tasteful implied nudes. She was absolutely stunning! Using jewelry as clothing was so much fun and gave us exactly the look she was hoping for. Since these are your memories, it’s absolutely up to you what you feel comfortable with—but I definitely encourage clients to go for it if there’s a look you’ve been thinking about and would love to try but feel a little unsure of. Couples photos are another great option for a maternity photography session, and we made sure to include some of those too. Tanner and Jasmine are so excited about the newest addition to their family and I know they’ll be amazing parents!
