I hope everyone’s holiday season is off to a wonderful start and that you have some fun Thanksgiving plans for this week! I’m excited to share a few baby pictures from a session I did earlier this year. The seasonal colors and greenery are getting me all in the mood to celebrate!
Hannah and Jeremiah, along with big sister Hazlee, brought Kadence to my Eugene Oregon photo studio just after the holidays for her newborn photography session. I photographed big sister as a baby too, and Kadence looks so much like Hazlee did as a newborn!
For Hazlee’s newborn session (which happened in June a couple of years back), we did pink and some setups that were reminiscent of spring and summer. For Kadence, we embraced the winter season with darker colors, but also used purple for several of her setups. While it’s always fun to do seasonal pictures (especially with babies who are born around the holidays), it’s also a good idea to have some baby photos that are just a theme color and will work for home décor at any time of year. (I’m especially loving those stripy purple pants—anyone else?)
This little princess did just beautifully for me, and big sister did a fantastic job too during our family photos. It was great to see this sweet family back in my studio! As a Eugene, Oregon photographer it is always such a pleasure and a huge compliment when my clients come back to me again and again to capture each new stage of their growing families.
