I am so happy for this family! They are one of my oldest and dearest clients. I have been photographing them since their second child (Marshall) was a newborn and let me tell you, they are the best! I’m always so honored that they make the trip to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio from their home in Florence. When clients drive out of their way to see me (repeatedly!) I know I’m doing something right!
The newest addition to this beautiful family is Opal. I could not get over her cuteness! Look at that face and tell me you don’t want to bundle her up and keep her forever! And her hair was fantastic too!
We did this newborn photography session about a week before Christmas, so Mom wanted some Christmas setups. It’s always fun to add a little holiday cheer if baby’s birthday or our session date ends up being close to another special occasion. As in this case, we can get just a handful of holiday photos and the rest with more of a year-round theme.
We also did some pinks and blues (‘cause girls like blue too!) and I used darker backgrounds to really put the focus on baby—which Mom loved! (Pink and brown is actually a gorgeous color combo—so don’t be afraid to get creative when choosing colors for your baby pictures!)
Older siblings Danny, Marshall, and Delilah did a wonderful job with their new baby sister. I can’t believe how much they’ve all grown! It was so good to see them again and help this family welcome another adorable member to their circle!
