Child and Family Photography in Eugene, Oregon | Sibling Milestone Session at Hendricks Park

Just dreaming of summer as I look back on this sweet sibling milestone session from last year!

It was so fun to reconnect with this family! I photographed Lauren and Charles’ oldest child, Sam, as a newborn, but they had moved away from the area since so I missed getting to meet Isabel as a baby. But when they came back to Eugene, they got in touch to see if we could capture some beautiful golden light photos before the summer left us. Of course, I was delighted!

Summer Evening Sibling Milestone Photos

Hendricks Park is one of my favorite spots for spring and summer photos. It’s so green and pretty, and it seems like something is always in bloom! It’s also the perfect spot for a photo session with kids, since there’s plenty of room for them to run around so we can capture candid moments as well as posed portraits.

Lauren and Charles decided to focus this session on the kiddos—who were so cute! I couldn’t believe how big Sam had gotten, and Sam and Isabel are clearly best friends. They had a great time playing together and soaking up the last of the sunshine. Truly the perfect way to spend a summer evening!

I’m so glad this family thought of me and reached out! I always love reconnecting with my clients—whether it’s been weeks or years since we last saw each other—and seeing how their beautiful families are doing.

Spring and summer are the perfect time for outdoor sibling milestone sessions and family photoshoots. And spots during those seasons book up fast! If it’s getting close to time to update your photos, I hope you’ll be in touch soon—I would love to document this chapter of your family’s story!
