Merry Christmas! As we look forward to Christmas this week I thought today would be the perfect time to share a little holiday cheer.

All of my Christmas sessions happen on one busy day, usually in November, and it’s always one of my favorite parts of the year! Nothing beats the excitement of kids during the holidays, and it’s so fun to see their faces light up as we capture special moments together.

Usually I do about half the day with Santa and half without, but this year I did almost an entire day of Santa sessions. The demand for pictures with Santa was very high—and Santa and I want to make sure your wishes come true—so I just kept adding more and more Santa slots to the day until they stopped selling.

Everyone had a blast visiting with Santa Claus and telling him their Christmas wishes. From shy giggles to big grins, these moments always feel special. How lucky am I that Santa stops by the studio every year for a fun-filled day of memories?

Because Christmas photos at the studio have become an annual tradition for so many of my families, I like to change the setups a bit each year. I loved the two I created this time around: a light and airy white setup with a frosted white tree, and a bold and modern red setup with my posing blocks and some brightly wrapped presents.

It was a super fun day of sessions and I loved spending time with the 20+ families that joined me. It’s always such a treat to get ready for the holidays with all of these sweet and wonderful families!
