The Newest Member of the Family

My little sister Lindsey and her husband Nainoa had their third baby in the spring—another girl! They kept the gender a surprise but since I was there to photograph the birth I was one of the first to find out that we had another little princess to add to our family girl clan. I couldn’t be more thrilled—and I’m not the only one. Big sisters Harbor and Oaklee are just obsessed!

Sweet Snuggles

It was so special to document her arrival into the world, and spending time in the studio with her and my sister’s family was just the best. I snuggled sweet Romi every chance I got, but I did manage to put her down long enough to pick up the camera and capture some absolutely precious newborn photos. After all, baby girls deserve to be documented in all their brand new glory—and the window for newborn sessions is short. Those first two weeks really are magic, and it’s so important to make sure those memories are preserved.

Pure Perfection

Romi was absolutely perfect and yes, Auntie Shanna is completely smitten. (Can you blame me?) She arrived and made everyone in that family fall in love all over again. It’s amazing how these little ones become the center of your whole world the minute they’re born.
