Eugene, Oregon Maternity Photographer: Amanda

I loved photographing gorgeous mama Amanda! She ended up joining me for a few hours because she wanted to take advantage of my studio’s professional hair and makeup services before capturing her maternity photos. This extends the session time, but in the best way possible! What mom wouldn’t love getting some pampering before her maternity photoshoot?

Amanda had several ideas for her pregnancy pictures, all of which we were able to do! She wanted a bit of a boho feel, which we accomplished with my white lace dress and an absolutely adorable hat that she brought. I have a ton of gowns and outfits for my expecting mothers at my Eugene, Oregon photography studio, but you are always welcome to bring your own or accessorize in creative ways like this!

She also wanted some implied nudes, and I had just recently purchased a sheer mocha gown for the studio that was perfect for Amanda’s skin tone and exactly what she was looking for. Everybody is comfortable with different amounts of skin showing. If you kind of like the nude look but want it to be a little more subtle, just ask! Implied nudes are beautiful, and I have several options we can go over. If you check out my Instagram page or maternity gallery, you’ll get lots of great ideas!

And she looked gorgeous in my beige gown! I love all the ruffles on this one.

I got to photograph Amanda’s surprise gender baby in December. I won’t make you wait for me to blog the session though, before you get to find out what she had. It’s a girl! Keep an eye out for Maisy’s newborn photos coming later this year!
