I’m so excited to share this beautiful maternity session with all of you! Jessica actually did two maternity sessions with me. The first was a sunset session at the rose gardens, which turned out so pretty! She also wanted to do some studio maternity portraits—which is what I’ll be sharing today.

If you’re wondering why you might choose to do two maternity sessions—it really is so much fun! If you love both outdoor and studio images, then why choose? With two sessions we get tons of variety and you can experience both.
Sunset Session
This studio maternity session had a totally different feel than the outdoor session I did with Jessica and her husband a month earlier. Our earlier session took place on a sunny evening with a beautiful background of September roses, and we decided on the sweetest garden picnic theme. Our images were light and bright, with a fun, summery vibe.
Studio Session
For her studio images Jessica wanted something a bit more elegant and with lots of couples portraits. She brought the prettiest spring-colored dresses that contrasted perfectly with some of my darker neutral backdrops for a classic romantic feel with just the right edge. Jessica wears motherhood so beautifully and she was just stunning in these portraits!

It was so great to see Jessica and her husband again and to record this exciting chapter of their lives together. Love growing in every way possible—there’s nothing more beautiful!
