Eugene Oregon Maternity Photographer: Chandni and Family

Happy January, everyone! The end of the December and the beginning of January is always an interesting time as I wrap up one year and look forward to another. I feel like life is always changing—whether you’re welcoming a new little one to the family or adjusting to smaller shifts and transitions. No matter what changes life brings, January always feels like a season of new beginnings, so I think it’s only appropriate that we start this year off with some lovely maternity photos that herald the beginning of a brand new life!

Chandni, Sumesh and Meera came to my studio in Eugene for maternity photos before baby brother arrived. Chandni wanted both indoor and outdoor photos in one session, so we used my yard for some of our time together. If we can time it right with the sunset, this is always an option for my clients!

Chandni chose a couple of beautiful maternity gowns from my collection and we had so much fun creating these gorgeous portraits in the studio. We used my outdoor space mostly for our maternity and family photos—capturing the love and anticipation as this sweet family gets ready to welcome their new baby boy!

I’m so very excited for this family and so glad they chose me to document this precious time in their lives. Maternity is a fleeting season, yet it deserves to be remembered with timeless artistry. From flowing gowns to luminous light, every portrait is designed to honor the beauty of becoming a mother.
