With Thanksgiving coming up this month, November is always a time to remember my blessings. And one of the biggest of those is my job as a newborn and family photographer. Seriously, I pinch myself on the daily that I get to capture gorgeous images for families as a career. How did I ever get so lucky? I had to ask myself that question again when I welcomed this adorable little one to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio last January. Austin was my first newborn of 2023 and he did not disappoint! What a sweetheart, and the perfect way to start off the new year!
I have had the honor of photographing all three of Brittany and Andy’s adorable children. Big sister and brother have grown so much…and yet somehow have managed to stay just as cute as I remember them! How do kids do it? It was wonderful to see them and their parents in the studio again with the newest member of the family.
I always like to provide plenty of options for my clients to choose from as far as packages, props, and setups. I know every family is different, and these photos are a personal and intimate reflection of who you are. Andy and Brittany chose to do a full newborn photography session with both baby-only photos, and photos of the new little one with his parents and siblings. We did the lifestyle style for family photos (I have a lovely, cozy bed setup that is perfect for families with young children) which results in about half of the gallery being family photos. I loved all the special images we were able to capture!
