I know we’ve still got a whole month of summer…but it honestly feels like it’s almost over! Maybe it’s because July flew by so fast, I’m expecting that August will do the same. In fact, this whole year has been flying by. Hard to believe that it’s already been a few months since I did this newborn session with sweet Keeley!
Nicole and James and big brother Maverick (who I photographed as a newborn back in 2017—talk about how time flies!) were all able to join in this beautiful newborn and family photoshoot. Keeley was a preemie and had to spend time in the NICU before she could come home. She was still on oxygen when she came in for her session, but thankfully she was able to have the tubes removed temporarily so we could see the full beauty of her sweet little face.
Remember, the safety of your baby always comes first in my studio! If you have a little one on oxygen or with other health needs, please don’t ever assume you can make changes without consulting their doctor first. Sometimes we may need to wait a few extra days or weeks to hold your baby’s session. I know it can be hard to wait, especially if you’ve been planning and looking forward to these photos for a while, but trust me, you will have beautiful baby pictures even if we have to delay them for safety reasons until your sweet bundle is a little bit older. I make sure to build flexibility into my calendar for exactly these kinds of reasons!
It was so wonderful to see this sweet family back in my Eugene, Oregon studio again and to meet this beautiful baby girl! She was absolutely adorable!
