Ariel and Arthur brought in adorable new baby Rosalind for her newborn photography session a few months ago. What a gorgeous girl! She photographed beautifully and had the best lips and skin tone.
I loved the purple and mint color combo Ariel picked out. Made me think of spring—which was a welcome change, since Rosalind’s session took place in December, just about a week before winter solstice. We’d had plenty of gray skies, and those soft, pretty colors were just what I needed!
You’ll notice that Mom and Dad also brought a customized blanket with Rosalind’s name on it. It made the best swaddle! (If you’re considering a newborn session for your own baby, please feel free to let me know if there are any items from home you’d like to incorporate. I’m happy to use heirlooms or new baby gifts to personalize your session even further. And if you don’t, don’t worry! I have a fully stocked studio with tons of options for outfits and props that you’ll be able to choose from.)
Parent and baby pictures are included with my full newborn photo sessions (you can check out the difference between full and mini newborn sessions on my investment page) and I always encourage parents to take advantage of that! Babies only stay small for so long, and you’ll be glad you have professional portraits of you and your little one while they were still tiny. We captured some lovely portraits of this sweet family!
