Eugene, Oregon Newborn Photographer: Welcome Xia!

Savanna and Dylyn came back to my Eugene, Oregon photography studio for newborn photos with their adorable little daughter. Xia was the cutest thing—and so teeny! I just wanted to snuggle this sweet little peanut all day.

We went for all the summer feels with this session. Xia looked wonderful in the bright colors mom chose for her newborn pictures. I loved the coral and purple combo!

We also incorporated elements like stars, rainbows, and flowers, since they went great with our bright color scheme and were perfect for a baby girl. Rainbows are a client favorite, both for rainbow babies and just as a beautiful addition to any newborn photography session, so I have several options in different tones for parents to choose from. I had recently purchased a new rainbow flokati fur in more earth-toned colors, and I was so excited to use it for Xia’s session! It went beautifully with my moon and stars props—and I think it set Xia up for some very sweet dreams. :)

She really did do a great job sleeping for me, and we were able to get all the poses we wanted—including the always popular froggy pose. You can see why it’s a favorite!

Congratulations to mom and dad on their new little bundle of joy! Xia was a delight and I love the way her baby pictures turned out!
