Maternity Photographer near Portland Oregon: Mahlet and Ephrem in the Studio

I loved capturing these beautiful images for Mahlet and Ephrem. These two are just the most beautiful couple and I was so excited to do this maternity session for them! You are going to love their maternity photos!

These two traveled to my Eugene Oregon photography studio all the way from Portland and are originally from Ethiopia. Mahlet absolutely rocked her session and came super prepared—including with some beautiful clothing pieces she had found and knew she wanted for her maternity shoot.

We actually didn’t end up using a single piece from my client closet which is very rare, but I’m all for it! My studio wardrobe is really just there to make things easier for mamas. You never have to worry about bringing your own outfits, but if you have favorite items you want to wear then of course you absolutely can! Your session is about you and what makes you happy and excited as you celebrate this special season of life.

This session was filled with love, anticipation, and the beauty of new beginnings. It was wonderful to capture the sweetest moments as this couple awaited their little miracle. And they didn’t have long to wait! Mahlet and Ephrem welcomed their sweet baby girl less than two weeks after we did this maternity photoshoot. I’m so glad we managed to get these gorgeous images before she arrived. These will be a treasure for her mama for so many years to come.
